GF - Untitled V - WIP

So I've been absent from the internet more than usual. I just came back to see what I missed and well... just heard my heart shattering into small pieces after reading about the GravityFinale thing. I'm pretty touched by this, so I'm just uploading this WIP I've been having sitting in my desktop for who knows how long.

Story time (I'm pretty rusty with writing, but you might get the idea). Mama Pines would sometimes take her boys to a walk and wouldn't return until sunset. Ford sometimes wondered what kind of mysteries surrounded Glass Shard Beach at night and would try to convince his mom to let them return a bit later, even just a minute after the night. After insisting a lot, she agrees but will just be for a day.

While walking back home, Ford sees a group of odd people walking through a near, bright cave in the beach.

Having found what would be the best mystery ever, he tells Stan before going to sleep and both go the next day to the cave. Nothing in there, unfortunately, so they decide to sneak out of their house at night to explore the cave. Still nothing and Stan believes his older brother just tricked him and walks back to the house. After a few hours, Stan gets convinced again to keep going every night until the people show up. 

A week later, Stan and Ford, who vowed to give up if they didn't see people going into the cave that night, go to the beach. For their surprise, they see a person walking into the cave. A few minutes later, another followed. And another. And another. The twins keep waiting for more people to appear or when they get the chance. They wait a half an hour and the lights of the cave go off. The twins approach slowly and go inside. The cave seemed bigger than it looked like from the outside. There are a lot of small caves inside it, followed by paths and a maze. They keep wondering if they were inside some kind of spaceship or if it was some kind of a terrorist club, as it had a lot of traps. Stanley, unaware, activates an alarm and a creature resembling Anubis shows up, chasing and scaring the boys. 

As they were running, both begin to guess which cave was the exit and go to the left. With the twins cornered,  the creature is about to kill them until a robed figure with a sceptre charges it from the right and fights it. The jackal suddenly slashes the robed figure in the face and he ultimately hits the creature in the head with the sceptre. Still conscious, the Anubis-like humanoid runs off at the same time Ford approaches the person. Without turning around, the man shows him the sceptre, and what appears he's about to hit them, or Ford at least, the boys close their eyes in fear. Nothing happens and they open them again, realizing they're ouside the cave. Both return to their house, deciding it was enough adventure for the night, while the robed figure, revealed to be Filbrick, covering his bleeding left eye (or what remains of it), watches them go home.
